A couple days ago, I heard someone on the radio say, “We’re halfway through 2014…” and my mind was instantly blown.
What? Half way?! Where the hell did the that time go?! I feel like I just made up my 2014 Goals and Resolutions a couple weeks ago!
I opened up my blog from this past January titled “Life and HBW Goals and Resolutions.” I read through all of the goals I had set for myself and realized that things aren’t quite as bad as I first thought. I had accomplished a couple of the goals and was well on my way with some others. I then thought, what better way to update folks than to throw in a out-of-schedule podcast episode to update them on the status of Heritage Boatworks!
In addition, I was hoping to do a little experiment. Part of the Heritage Boatworks title is to “promote and preserve boat building in New England.” When I do an interview with boat builders, I both want to and feel obligated to promote the hell out of it. They were kind enough to take the time to talk with me, so I work hard to get the word out to everyone out there via social media and whatever other means I come across. This episode is just me, so I want to conduct a little experiment. I am not going to promote this podcast at all. As a matter of fact, this is the only place on the Internet that it will be discussed. I am anxious to see what my download numbers will be and how it will compare to those episodes that I promoted heavily.
So, if you are reading this, consider yourself “in-the-know” about Episode 012 and have a listen below. It is just a bit of housekeeping with updates on my boats, my goals, and HBW in general. It is only 15 minutes, but I cover quite a bit of ground in that time. Leave me feedback in the comments below and I always reply.
